SharpCapper focuses on sports betting and fantasy decisions. It brings sportsbook odds, sports data and available prediction-market prices into a structured answer with a win estimate, the price comparison and the reasons behind the call. You can also check a bet slip, compare lines and review our public record of published picks.

Units are computed from the Strength score using a fixed, deterministic formula. They are never invented by the AI. The mapping is: 9-10/10 = 2.0u, 7-8/10 = 1.5u, 5-6/10 = 1.0u, below 5/10 = 0.5u. Units are capped at 2.0u maximum. They are relative to your own bankroll, not a dollar amount. 1u is roughly 1-2% of whatever you set as your betting bankroll. This keeps every recommendation sized to you, regardless of bankroll size.

These three numbers are how we show a bet's value. Win Probability is our estimate of how often the bet actually wins. Market % is the chance the odds imply, the price the sportsbook is charging (for example, -110 implies about 52.4%). Edge is the difference: Win Probability minus Market %. A positive edge means we think the bet wins more often than the price says, so it has positive expected value (+EV), the mathematical foundation of long-term profit. We only put up a pick when it clears the market's implied price. Win Probability is NOT the same as the Strength score: Strength measures how big the edge is, which is what sets stake size, while Win Probability is a real frequency estimate of how often the bet wins. A higher Strength score means a bigger edge, not a safer bet. For a parlay, we show the combined win probability (all legs multiplied together) versus the book's combined price, so you see the true edge of the whole ticket.

Closing line value, or CLV, is whether the price you got beat where the line closed at game time. The closing line is the sharpest number of the day, the price left after all the money, including the professionals, has come in. If you consistently get a better number than the close, you were finding value before the market corrected, which is the single best predictor of long-term profit. That is why the Sharp League ranks entrants on CLV rather than wins: one game is mostly luck, but beating the closing line over time is skill. We hold our own picks to the same standard.

Every day the AI generates our best bets across the slate (typically one per sport, sometimes a second where the board is deep), each with a Win Probability and an Edge versus the market price. It runs the slate several times each morning and posts only the plays the runs agree on, so a one-off outlier never makes the board. The Pick of the Day is the strongest of those, our single best call for the day. The Elite daily digest surfaces the next-best plays by edge that weren't already posted publicly. We measure ourselves on Closing Line Value (CLV), whether our posted price beat the market's closing line, which is the strongest long-run signal of a sharp bettor.

A pick must meet our minimum estimated advantage over the probability implied by its price. That threshold varies with the price and our graded results; it is higher in markets where finding an advantage has been harder. If nothing qualifies, we publish No Bet. We may identify a close call as a lean, clearly marked as too weak to stake. The same standard applies to free daily picks, the Elite digest, and Analyst answers.

The Bet Tracker is your personal bet log, free with any SharpCapper account. Log the bets and parlays you place anywhere, set your bankroll, and SharpCapper tracks your real units profit/loss, ROI, current streak, and a bankroll-over-time chart, with breakdowns by sport and bet type. It is separate from the public AI Record, which shows SharpCapper's own daily-pick record.

Team bets like moneyline, spread, run line, puck line, and game totals grade automatically against final scores after the games finish, just like our daily picks. Player props auto-grade too, checked against the official ESPN box score, in MLB, NBA, WNBA, NHL, NFL, and college football and basketball. A prop the box score can't confidently resolve stays pending, and parlays are set manually with a quick win/loss/push control on each pick. You can always override any result yourself.

Built into the Bet Tracker, these help you size bets properly, which is where most bettors actually lose money. Set your bankroll and we show your unit size in real dollars (pros risk 1-2% per bet). The Kelly calculator takes your win-probability estimate and the odds and returns the mathematically optimal stake, a safer half-Kelly, and your edge versus the price. A break-even calculator shows the exact win rate you need at any odds just to break even.

Yes. In the Bet Tracker you can log a parlay with up to 12 legs, enter each leg and its odds and the combined parlay price is calculated automatically (you can override it). Parlays show their full leg list and roll into your units P/L, ROI, and a dedicated Parlay category in your breakdowns.

They are SharpCapper's two long-shot parlays, an Elite exclusive. The Weekly Monday Moonshot is a 4-6 leg player-prop ticket priced +1000 to +5000, dropped every Monday; the Super Sunday Moonshot is a bigger all-player-props ticket priced +5000 to +25000, dropped every Sunday. Both are built the same honest way as everything else, every leg individually beats its market price, and the estimated combined hit rate is printed right on the ticket. They miss most weeks, that is the nature of a moonshot, but each is graded in public so the record stays honest. Elite members see the live legs before the games start; the running record and every graded ticket stay public. The free daily Parlay of the Day is still available to everyone.

SharpCapper reads the legs, odds, and stake, you confirm or edit them, and they drop into your tracker to grade automatically. Nothing is saved until you confirm, and you can change any field, including the sport, before or after saving.

A pick counts as verified only when it was logged before the game started, checked server-side against the live schedule, so a verified record cannot be padded after results are known. Picks logged after tip-off still track in your private Bet Tracker, they just do not carry the verified badge. Make the page yours from My Profile: add a bio, location, and social links, upload an avatar logo, and equip the free frames and card styles. Other members can find you and follow your plays, and you can copy the link or post your record straight to X or Discord, with your referral code riding along if you have one. You choose whether the page is public or private, which governs your Bet Tracker record: your Sharp League standing is public by participation and stays on the leaderboard either way.

You pick against the real book lines SharpCapper serves, every pick stakes one flat unit so nobody can outrank you by bet sizing, and no real money is involved. We grade every pick against the real result, and cappers are ranked by verified closing line value (CLV), whether the price you locked beat the market's close. A small sample regresses toward zero until you build volume, and you need at least 10 graded picks to appear, so a lucky night cannot top the board. Rankings run over several windows, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly, so a hot week and a strong year both have a place, and SharpCapper's own AI sits on the board as the benchmark row to beat.

This is the whole point of doing it our way. On the leaderboard you can only pick the lines we show you, there is no odds field to type and no screenshot to upload, so there is no number you enter anywhere in the ranking math. Every pick is captured at our price, graded by us against the real result, and scored on closing line value measured from our own open to our own close. Because nobody can fake a price, doctor a screenshot, or pad a record after the result is known, a sharpest capper board actually means something here in a way it cannot on a tracker that trusts typed in odds. Private tracker picks with manual odds or slip screenshots still work for your own records, they just never qualify for the leaderboard.

That is your choice, and it is separate from the Sharp League. The Bet Tracker is private by default: your logged bets, bankroll, and results are visible only to you. Making your Capper profile public shares your verified record, the picks logged before tip-off and graded automatically, and never your bankroll or your unverified picks. You can switch between public and private at any time. The Sharp League works differently: entering is opting in to a public competition, so your League picks, your CLV, and your rank show on the leaderboard under your handle whether your Bet Tracker is public or private. Going private hides your bet log, not your League standing. Your SC Points total stays private either way.

The weekly NFL fantasy board is free to browse, no account needed: you see every ranked player, their matchup, injury tags, and a start, flex, or sit verdict, with PPR, Half PPR, and Standard scoring toggles. The projected points are free too, along with the ceiling and floor, the sportsbook line each projection was built from, and the confidence rating. What Pro and Elite add is the per-player deep dive: Vegas context, usage, defense vs position, weather, and the reasoning behind each verdict. Yes, both. The men's NCAA tournament (NCAAB) and the women's (NCAAW) are treated as two separate sports end to end, with their own odds feeds, their own scoreboards, and their own graded records. That matters more than it sounds: the two tours field schools with the same names, so a matchup like UConn against Tennessee is a real game in both, and blending them would grade a women's bet against a men's final. Tournament games are priced exactly like any other game on the board. Code reads every market at every book we cover, strips the vig out of each price to get a fair number, and ranks what is left by the gap to the best price actually available, and the AI then validates those candidates. Strength is derived from the measured edge rather than self-scored.

You can fill out a full bracket for either tournament on the March Madness page, free and with no account needed. It is live all year: the structure never changes, so before Selection Sunday you pick by seed (1 through 16, four regions, six rounds to a title) and team names fill in once the field is announced. Your picks carry straight over when they do, because a bracket slot is identified by its region and seed rather than by whoever ends up in it, and everything saves in your browser. A graded bracket contest, where free and paid accounts submit a bracket and the top finishers earn SC Points, is in development and marked coming soon on the page. It is not open yet, so nothing you fill in today is submitted anywhere.

They are computed by code from the sportsbook player prop market, not invented by the AI. The insight is simple: when books post a line on a player's passing yards, receptions, or touchdowns, they are publishing a projection with real money behind it, the sharpest public forecast that exists. We take those posted prop prices, strip out the vig (the book's built-in fee) to get the fair number, and convert them into an expected stat line for each player. Those stats are then scored in PPR, Half PPR, or Standard, and the START, FLEX, or SIT verdicts follow from the numbers. Where a player has no posted props, we fall back to his real recent NFL production and role instead of guessing, and a stat with no usable data contributes nothing rather than a made-up zero. The AI's job is to explain the projection, never to produce the numbers. That market-anchored approach is the difference from most fantasy tools: our projection starts from prices professionals bet into, not from one site's opinion.

The # is the player's rank on the board you are looking at, ordered by projected points under the scoring you selected, so a QB view ranks quarterbacks 1 to N. Verdict is positional: START means the player ranks inside the weekly starter band for his position (top 12 QB, top 24 RB, top 36 WR, top 12 TE), FLEX means he sits just below it and is worth a flex slot, SIT means he projects below both, and INACTIVE means his injury status says he will not play. Conf is a 1 to 5 confidence score for the data behind the projection: 5 means the same lines are priced at multiple sportsbooks across several prop markets plus recent usage to steady them, while 1 means we only have a week or two of recent production and no posted props. Ceil and Floor show how volatile the projection is. For a player with a posted prop line they come from a measured band: how far real results have finished above and below that kind of line in past seasons, at the 20th and 80th percentile. For a player with no posted line we fall back to his best and worst fantasy scores over his last four played games. Proj is the expected fantasy points. Where a prop line is posted we build it from the prop prices with the sportsbook's built-in fee stripped out, because the market already knows the player better than a four game average does. Where no line is posted we fall back to recent usage. A dot in any column means we do not have that data yet, never a zero.

Yes. Behind Basketball, Football, Baseball, and Hockey, our model predicts a score for every game on the board, the same predicted scores you see on Daily Picks and inside the AI Analyst. It uses full box scores under every final (shooting percentages, rebounds, turnovers, pace), who actually played and who sat every night, probable starters and lineups, and injury reports archived daily so it remembers who was hurt when. In baseball it starts from pitching, the starter's ERA and the strength of the rotation behind him. In basketball it cares who is on the floor and how tired they are. It also reads the market itself: closing prices from five sportsbooks and how each line moved from its open. Every week it studies what it got right and wrong on the games that just finished and adjusts, and beating a great team counts for more than beating a bad one, so it always weighs who a team actually played. Before any of that reaches a published pick, it has to prove itself: we test it the honest way, on games it had never seen, against more than one hundred thousand real historical closing prices from those days, exactly as if it had bet them. You can compare the published picks with their results in the public record.

Kalshi is a regulated prediction market where people trade directly on game outcomes, so its prices are a second, independent read on every game: sportsbooks tell you the price they will sell you, prediction markets tell you what people with money on the outcome collectively believe. We compare the two on every game we analyze. Most of the time they agree, and that agreement is itself useful information. When they meaningfully disagree, that gap is a signal worth digging into, and it shows up two ways: the Edge Board lists sportsbook consensus next to the Kalshi probability for every game, refreshed through the day, and when a divergence backs one of our published picks, the pick carries a Kalshi Cross-Check note saying so. None of the AI betting tools we have compared runs this check.

Subscriptions provide access to analysis and tools. You can assess the picks before subscribing: every pick has a pre-game timestamp, a result, and an entry in the public monthly record. Wins and losses remain visible, including losing months. No record guarantees future results.

If you do bet, the site is built to keep sizing sane at any bankroll: picks carry a suggested unit size, one unit meaning one percent of whatever your bankroll is, so the same discipline works with fifty dollars or five thousand. The Bet Tracker includes a bankroll and Kelly calculator that turns an edge into a mathematically sound stake, and the analyst will happily explain any bet in plain language before you place it. Most bettors go broke from oversized bets, not bad picks, and the tooling here is deliberately pointed at that problem.

Power ratings are a measure of team strength, one number per team, updated after every final score for the NFL, MLB, NBA and NHL. They are not picks and we do not claim they beat a sportsbook line, they are simply a running read of how strong each team is relative to the rest of its league. The ratings table itself is free for everyone. Pro and Elite add the team breakdown for any team you open, its rating trend over time, its record with home and away splits, scoring for and against with league ranks, efficiency numbers such as NFL efficiency per play, NHL expected goals or NBA four factors, its last five games with the rating change each one caused, and a plain list of what is moving the rating. Pro and Elite also unlock Compare Two Teams, which gives you our number for any matchup, a projected line for NFL and NBA or a win chance for MLB and NHL.
