SharpCapper publishes MLB picks priced against live sportsbook odds from real US books. Every pick names the exact side, the exact number and the price we posted it at, and every result is graded in public afterwards, wins and losses alike. If nothing on the slate clears our edge bar, we publish the pass and say so.

Baseball is a daily sport, which is the reason it carries our longest record by a wide margin: there is a full slate almost every day from March to October, so the sample builds faster here than anywhere else we cover. A long record is the only honest way to tell a real edge from a hot month, and it is the reason this page exists rather than a highlight reel.

We stake the moneyline on MLB and leave run lines and totals alone. A run line can win more often than it loses and still cost money, because it does not pay enough to cover the games it drops, and that is exactly what our own graded history shows. Passing on a market we cannot beat is part of the discipline, not an omission.

The starting pitcher is the single largest input on a baseball card, and a late scratch changes the game we priced. We post against the board as it stands when we publish and grade against that same number, so an unconfirmed rotation is a reason to pass rather than a reason to guess.
