Line Moves Today: Where the Betting Lines Moved

Read Monday, November 2, 2026 at 8:02 AM ET: 32 of 35 games on the board had a line move across NFL, NBA, NCAAB, NHL and NCAAW. The largest are listed below.

The number the most sportsbooks agree on, read every 15 minutes across five regulated US books (DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, Caesars and BetRivers), from our first capture of each game to now. The largest moves of the day show first, by sport, with the open and the current number. Pro and Elite see every move and a chart of each game's spread, total and moneyline through the day.

A line move is a fact about the market and never a pick. We tested betting with these moves and against them on football, and neither paid once the price was accounted for. Use a move as a question about the price you can still get, not as a reason to bet a side. The page names no side and claims no edge.

What is a line move? A line move is a change in the number sportsbooks post for a game: a spread going from -3.5 to -2.5, a total going from 44.5 to 46, or a moneyline price shifting. We read the number the most books agree on across five regulated US sportsbooks every 15 minutes and keep the path.

Is a line move the same as sharp money? No. Nobody outside a sportsbook can see who bet. A move toward one side means the book took enough money or respected enough bettors to change its price. That is a fact about the market, not proof that the side will win.

Should I bet the side the line moved toward? We tested it on football. Following moves lost, and fading them lost, once the price was accounted for. A move is a question, not an instruction: the test is whether the price you can still get beats the fair number with the fee removed.

Where does "open" come from? From our first capture of the game, which can be several days before kickoff for football and the same morning for most other sports. We do not have the true opening number from the sportsbooks, so the page says since our first capture.
